The Life-Realm is not Just Another Link

A message by Henry DuBose.

Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Philippians 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.

We have talked about the need to count all as loss in order to move into the Life-Realm of the Lord. This was somewhat difficult for some to receive because it not only meant counting as loss that which had been a blessing to us, but also our present relationship with the Lord. In the past we have always endeavored to progress in our relationship with Him, moving on into spiritual maturity was our hearts’ desire. And now we find it necessary to abandon even the spiritual progress that has been a way of life to us. Some, no doubt, have wondered why such a drastic step was necessary. The following is what the Lord spoke to my heart as to why it was needful.

Psalm 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Psalm 102:18 speaks of a generation to come, a people that shall be created. Then, in Matthew 24:34, Jesus said, “This generation (literal: race) shall not pass.” The word “generation” literally means “race.” God is creating a new race of people, a people with His nature. A message concerning this is in the book “A New Race of People.” (If you want the book, all you have to do is write Open Heavens Ministries and ask for it.)

In a unique way, God’s dealings with Abraham parallels His dealings with us at this time. Abraham was in the land of Ur of Chaldees when God called him. God’s plan was to create a new nation, and Abraham was to be the father of that new nation. In order to do this it was necessary for God to cut Abraham off from everything he knew. He was severed from his old life. God told him to leave his country, his kindred, his father’s house, and He would make of him a new nation, a new race of people (Genesis 12:2). Even after Abraham left there were more separations that took place on his journey to a land he did not know and a relationship with God that he did not know. This total separation was necessary for Abraham to be the beginning of a new race of people. Had he remained in the land of Ur of Chaldees when God called him, he would have been just another link in the same chain.

Now, let’s take a look at church history beginning with the Dark Ages. The Dark Ages was a time of spiritual darkness and idolatry, as was Ur of Chaldees. Out of that darkness came Martin Luther and what is known as the Lutheran Movement. Out of it came the Wesley’s and the Methodist Movement. Out of the Methodists came the Holiness, and out of the Holiness came the Pentecostals. Out of the Pentecostals came what is known as the Latter Rain and the Move of God. All of these have proceeded out of the Dark Ages. Each was a link in the chain from Darkness to Modern Christianity. Even though the move of progress involved the leadership of the Holy Spirit, it carried a seed of the Darkness. It was a mixture of good and evil like the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden.

The Life-Realm set before us must not be a further extension or another link of the chain. There must be no connection with the Darkness. The Life-Realm is the dwelling place for the new race of people that God is creating. We cannot carry a seed from the realm of mixture into the Life-Realm. God will not allow that! Therefore, we must be totally separated from the old. And, of course, that separation takes place in us. Everything of our flesh-nature will oppose the severing of the old. But this cutting off is the true sanctifying process. This Life-Realm is our true inheritance. Give thanks to our Father for preparing us for this Realm of His Life. Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son. Colossians 1:12-13.

  1. There is so much wisdom and truth in this message! Christ is the first-born and head of a new creation – a new heaven and new earth. These are spiritual words for what must transpire within everyone who is born of the spirit and entering the kingdom of God. It is the kingdom of God coming within us and then manifesting itself outwardly. All the links in the chain of the old have tried to build it from an outward visible perspective just as the pattern of the world does. It keeps God separated from us – “somewhere up there” – from a distance – while we perform works “down here”. But that is spirit of antichrist still usurping the throne. The kingdom appears from within when Christ is Lord of our being. His kingdom must first come within – in our earth – flesh bodies. This is not a show or religious demonstration or soulish endeavor – it is a work of the holy spirit.

It is only when we begin to hear the voice of he Lord from within and as we follow (obey) His word we will be separated out and out and out until there is nothing left to separate. The old things, the familiar things, the cherished things, the religious things, the coveted things, the learned things, the appearances of things, the pride of knowledge, soul-based ties and relationships, all things that we have held dear increasingly become of no value to us – they are heart idolatry and have defiled our spirit. As Paul said and we identify with – they are but dung compared to the riches we find in Christ Jesus our Lord and our inheritance in him.

Thus for the disciple and pilgrim, there are many deaths to experience along the way to life, the final one being the axe laid to the root of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which has been carrying within us that mixture or duality of flesh and spirit. What we “thought” was life has become to us death, and yet it is through our “death to this death” that was working in us that we are truly born. We enter the kingdom through our individual experience of the cross. It is through our brokeness of heart and humility in our spirit that we realize there is NOTHING in us that can accomplish one thing for the Lord. We must come to this place of lowliness where we know longer trust anything of ourselves but cast ourselves onto the Lord, learning of Him and being taught how to discern and filter our thoughts through the mind of Christ – rejecting what is of Adam’s nature.

We are literally pressed out of the old mold and into the new by the spirit of truth working in us mightily. We die to the old and are born into the new creation man, the new race regenerated by our Lord. We begin to understand by His spirit that we are being recreated new as sons in the SON! This is the birthing and offering up of the promised “Isaac” which brings laughter and praise and life as intended by our Father. This is the turning of the water into the new wine of the kingdom and where our relationship with the Lord changes. We are no longer trying to perform for him or please Him by fleshly works or becoming “spiritual”. We now share the new wine and drink of it WITH Him – in His kingdom – in union with him. It has nothing to do with religion or man-based knowledge formed from the scriptures or mental pictures. It has everything to do with Christ being formed in us through living words of spirit which are walked out by faith in His endless, ever-present, all -sufficient supply of grace and nothing produced from our own mental machinations or imaginations. It is a wonder! It is a wonder because it is all of the Lord and nothing of our self. We live out of His life and not our own. We live out of His life and not our doctrines. We find that God is not a respecter of persons or individuality that the world personifies and glorifies, nor does he behold our Adamic nature or personalities. He looks for the son in us. We carry the glory of His son! Behold! Look! He makes all things new! We find our being is His being in us and our true life. He that has the son – has life – abundant – LIFE! Praise our Father who has given us all things pertaining to life which is His divine nature.

Mat 19:24 And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
Mat 19:25 And His disciples were exceedingly astonished when they heard this, saying, Who then can be saved?
Mat 19:26 But having looked at them, Jesus said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Mat 19:27 Then answering, Peter said to Him, Behold, we left all things and followed You. What then shall be to us?
Mat 19:28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, You who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Mat 19:29 And everyone who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for the sake of My name, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

With man – it is impossible to inherit the kingdom. The link to Adam must be forever cut and our hearts fully circumcised in order to bear the precious fruit of the tree of life a hundred- fold.
