The truth is going to prevail in everyone’s heart who is open to it. The cry for God to expose the lies and corruption in the land is not enough. If desiring to see all that is corrupt and false revealed is our only drive, we will eventually become frustrated an angry. Those who perpetuate lies and a false narrative are never going to willingly cease. The pit of hell from which the lies come is bottomless. This applies across the board. What wars against our country, for example, is but an extension of a bigger war, which is a war against Jesus Christ Himself. It is a war against the righteousness of God.
Truth is manifested on many different levels, according to those who can hear it. This is why, for example, many Americans react to the lawlessness being sown in our culture. Something innate in them responds to the lies although they don’t see to the root of those lies. Jesus said, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.” We are to earnestly pray for the truth to be made manifest and solid in every heart that is open, regardless of the degree of openness.
The kingdom of God will prevail because the truth becomes established on every level. When the truth is revealed as the truth, it crushes the lie. Now, this does not mean everyone will receive the truth. We see and receive according to the state of our hearts. This hour we are in is about choosing. The judgments of God are tied up in our choosing. We should get rid of the concept that God is going to just “judge the false and evil” in the earth. We should get rid of the idea that God looks down and sees all this evil and corruption, and judges it. The judgments are tied into our choosing. Our choices initiate judgment. Paul alludes to this truth in 2nd Thess. 3.
17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 “This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
This is the judgment, that men loved the darkness rather than the Light. See, it is a choice. The choices being made at every level are initiating or alleviating judgment. All hearts are being called into question. This is why we see the true nature of politicians and governments, etc., being exposed. God brings the exposure, but we each individually determine judgment, or the lack thereof, according to what is in our hearts.
The truth will be established, and it will become a forgone conclusion. The blur between the true and the false is being removed. This is God’s doing. Let’s read some passages from the book of Revelation.
10 And he *said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
11 “Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”
12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
We see in these passages a distinct separation of the true and the false. The verses imply a state where people persist in both the truth and in the lie. Notice verses 14-15. There are those “inside” the gates of the city, i.e., the truth, and those “outside,” which symbolizes the lie. It’s interesting that these passages come at the end of the book of Revelation. In the wrapping up of all things, we see that the truth has been fully separated from the lie. This is also alluded to in Rev. 14.
1 ¶ Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.
3 And they *sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth.
4 These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5 And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.
Our intercession at the present time should be directed toward the establishment of the truth on every level. It is the truth that will crush the lies and deception being spewed at the present time. How can the lies be exposed if there is not first the truth revealed? The lies are only seen in light of the truth. We need to apply this to what is happening in our country, and to the world, in general. Our cry must be that truth prevails in the hearts of everyone who is open to it. There will be the weeping and gnashing of teeth in the outer darkness as Jesus spoke. This will come about because people chose to believe the lie, and not the truth.
47 “If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.
49 “For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.
50 “I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”
It was written of Jesus in Isa. 42:3, “A bruised reed He will not break And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.” This is the intercession of the kingdom. To whatever degree a heart is open, let the truth prevail in it. Let truth prevail over all the lies of the enemy in every realm, and in every open heart.
